Georg Steinhauser

Georg made his WorldTour debut in 2022. On the bike, he is developing into an all-rounder with a strong ability to both climb and time trial. Off the bike, Georg is a metalworker. His apprenticeship kept him busy through 2022, and the following season was his first year fully dedicated to cycling.

On the final stage of the 2023 Tour of the Alps, he worked to help teammate Simon Carr feeling fresh in the day-long breakaway. Thanks to Georg's work, Simon went on to win the stage and Georg took second place. At La Route d'Occitanie - La Dépêche du Midi, Georg placed third on the overall classification and won the best young rider's jersey.

When he’s not away racing, Georg loves riding around his hometown of Scheidegg, in the Bavarian mountains near the Lake of Constance. He is also a keen skier. His favorite training session is doing intervals over and under his threshold.
